About Us
Surtek (Pty) Ltd was registered in October 1996
The company began with the main goal of supplying and supporting equipment and services to the surveying community of Botswana. Surtek are the ONLY authorised reseller of Leica equipment in Botswana. Since inception, Surtek has built up an extensive client base across all relevant industry sectors in Botswana.
These clients include:
The Department of Surveys and Mapping, Department of Mines, Department of Agriculture, Department of Civil Aviation, All Land Boards, Debswana (Orapa and Jwaneng Mines), Tati Nickel Mine, BCL Mine, University of Botswana, Botswana International University of Science and Technology. Our client base also includes many civil and construction companies, and private land surveyors.
We carry a range of consumable items for the relevant equipment that we have installed in Botswana. This includes, but is not limited to, batteries, cables, clamps, tripods, prism and antenna poles and cable connectors.
Our service centre is equipped to perform basic repairs, calibration and testing of all Lecia Geosystems equipment supplied. All major repairs are undertaken by our suppliers in Leica certified workshops in South Africa.
